In 2006 I started out as a rep for Okuma working shows and selling fishing products. In 2007 I met a group of folks who turned me on to kayak fishing and kayak tournaments. The next year I got my first kayak, a Cobra Maurader, in which I competed for the first time. With no money and very little support, I began my journey on the tournament trail. With hard work, in 2009, I became the Plastic Navy Kayak Angler of the Year. 

Thanks to my strong communication skills, love of the sport, and passion for conservation, I have been approached by multiple companies in the fishing industry. I have also been a top ten tournament angler in boating series such as SWBA and the Saltwater Bass Series. I have competed against the best in Southern California.
